Apparent Sidereal Time provides the current sidereal angle or at a time passed to function. Sidereal angle is the angle between the vernal equinox and the Greenwich Angle. Apparent Sidereal time is the Local mean sidereal time plus a longitudinal offset based on the nutation of the earth.Necessary for calculating position information when switching between multiple reference frames.Users must set the timezone in which they operate within the function.The function calculates the Mean Sidereal Time and Apparent Sidereal Time. Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
